The loads shown above have a safety factor built in to allow for worst case
scenarios. Actual tests have proved the achievable loads to be far greater than those shown. Note one of the tests have shown
that this mooring system is capable of withstanding in excess of 2.5 tonne horizontal force.
Vessel size for each mooring is determined by site specific conditions including sea bed consistancy and exposure to wind
and tidal movement.
For optimal results a test drilling is recomended to identify consistancy of sea bed for a suitable screw
post/load spreader.
